Elyse Eriksson Selected to Speak at the National Conference of Small Business Development Centers

DALLAS - Sept. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Elyse Eriksson, Managing Director of Export Connector and creator/author of The Riddle of the Exporter™ has been selected as an export trainer for the 2013 National Conference for the Association of Small Business Development Centers.



The Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) are the preeminent providers of small/medium business counseling, education and information. The SBDC network provides high quality, cost effective assistance through its members, resulting in a positive long-term economic impact.



The SBDC annual conference will be held in Orlando, Florida, September 9-12th and welcomes over 1400 directors and counselors of the association. This conference offers top-quality workshops, roundtables, general sessions, working luncheons and an Exhibit Hall. During the four-day conference, counselors will have the opportunity to expand their business and counseling skills.



After an excellent audience reception at last year’s conference in New Orleans, The Riddle of the Exporter ™ was invited back to open the international training segment. In addition to The Riddle of the Exporter ™ 1-Day exporting overview, the Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee will be offering over 25 seminars on advanced topics such as international marketing, international logistics and international finance options.



Ms. Eriksson is the creator of The Riddle of the Exporter™ Training and International Launch Plan Workbook, offering a repeatable 8-step process to create a roadmap for new exporters. According to Ms. Eriksson, “Export knowledge is one tool every small business counselor should have in their tool bag.” Learning about the mechanics of exporting and providing counselors with an easy to understand 8-step process is the core of her presentation.

Accompanying the seminar is The Riddle of the Exporter International Launch Plan™ Workbook which follows the same 8-step process offering checklists for each step that actually walks new exporters through the process.
