By: StreetPass NYC The Bottleneck Gallery is hosting artist Chogrin's final show in his "3" trilogy where over 50 artists will be paying tribute to three of Nintendo's most popular games: Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda and Metroid. "We are super excited to support the continued growth and awareness of video games not just as an entertainment brand but as a culture that grows and evolves as time passes for past, current and future generations of gamers" said Jordan White, Founder and Event Organizer of StreetPass NYC. "We are contributing to this display of impressive pieces of artwork inspired by three of the biggest Nintendo franchises by installing an interactive Wii U experience showcasing the artistic side of Nintendo fans via the Wii U GamePad." The installation will only be available on the Opening Ceremony of the 3NES Gallery from 7:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Visitors after being inspired by the incredible artwork showcased at the exhibit will be able to view via Wii U's Miiverse the most polished and impressive artworks uploaded to the Art Academy: Sketch Pad Miiverse community via HDTV provided by StreetPass Long Island. If they want to itch their artistic side, visitors will be allowed to go into the Wii U's eShop exclusive Art Academy Sketch Pad app itself, draw something unique and upload it to the Miiverse community for all to see online via Wii U, PC and Mobile Phones. Also at various points, the newest and greatly anticipated Wii U third party title from Ubisoft, Rayman Legends, will be demoed to the public. Four players will be able to play this living painting of a game powered by the UbiArt engine (a graphics/design engine made by artist for artist with next to zero programing experience to make their dream artistic visions and details come to life) while a fifth player can command the Wii U GamePad touch screen and motion sensors to manipulate the scenery, helping his or her fellow gamers. "Video Games as a medium are interactive, so we would are proud to work with the fine folks of the Bottleneck Gallery and the curator of the exhibit Chogrin to spice up the viewing experience via reminding and showcasing to people the medium's defining trait", Jordan White, Founder and Event Organizer of StreetPass NYC concluded.
