StreetPass NYC Hosts Super Smash Bros Gathering at SmashBurger on February 15th

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Jan. 30, 2015 - PRLog -- On the heels of the finals of the APEX Tournament Series 2015 (the largest Super Smash Bros Melee, Brawl, 64 and Wii U Tournament in the world) and the launch of the New Nintendo 3DS handheld video game portable system on February 13th; StreetPass NYC invites all to have a smashing good time with Super Smash Bros for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS at the SmashBruger (74 Dekalb Avenue New York, NY) on Sunday, February 15th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM EST for burgers, prizes and more!

On Sunday, February 15th starting at 1:00 PM, fans of Super Smash Bros for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS can enter the specious SmashBurger in Brooklyn. The event's entry fee is simple as saying "Smash Bros at the SmashBurger" and ordering $8 or more of any food items at SmashBurger which includes delicious choices such as the Baja Cobb Salad, Avacado Club Chicken sandwich and the Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger. The ordering waitress will give participating smashers a raffle ticket which will be taken to a StreetPass NYC staff person who will stamp it for approval in the SmashBurger Smash Zone.

NOTE: All money transactions for food, drinks and other resources are handled and profited by SmashBurger, StreetPass NYC does NOT make any profits from any money transactions during the event.

While waiting for their food, Smash Bros fans can battle with their own Smash Bros mains as Mario, Pikachu, Link and other Nintendo Characters in up to 8 players in Super Smash Bros for Nintendo Wii U and can bring their own controller (Pro, GameCube, Wii Remote) to play. Controllers options will also be provided by staff. Smash Bros fans are also encouraged to play rounds of Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS with thier own Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 2DS and NEW Nintendo 3DS XL units.

Every 40 minutes starting at 1:00 PM, StreetPass NYC players will raffle event participants using their tickets to fight in rounds of 1 VS 1 Traditonal Smash on Wii U and/or Four Player Smash Run rounds on Nintendo 3DS (players must have their own copy of Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS and Nintnedo 3DS system to participate in Smash Run) for prizes such as eShop cards and more!

Other event activities will include playing a variant of Cards Against Humanity known as "Smash Bros Against Humanity" and a special suprise near the end of the event!

StreetPass NYC would also like to highlight that there is a 48 person limit in SmashBruger and the group will have a sign outside to indicate if the venue is full or not. If it is full, StreetPass NYC with SmashBurger staff will rotate players in and out of the building every passing hours starting at 1:00 PM EST. So if Smash Bros fans arrive for the event and can't enter due to the venue being full, they are encouraged to come back an hour later between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM EST to be let into that round of Smash fans. This measure is to make sure everyone has a safe chance of playing Smash Bros games while having fun.
