Craig Campbell Joins WCOL Miller Lite Concert Series at The Bluestone

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sept. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Country artist Craig Campbell will perform on The Bluestone stage on October 11^th, 2013. This will be Campbell’s first time performing at the central Ohio venue known as “Columbus’ New Home for Country Music and Special Events.”  Ryan Kinder will open the show. This concert will be the second in the “WCOL Miller Lite Concert Series at The Bluestone,” which includes Parmalee, Craig Campbell, David Nail, Love and Theft, Joe Nichols, and more shows that will be announced soon.

Craig Campbell is a Georgia born, Nashville-based singer, who released his second studio album, Never Regret, in 2012.  Prior to landing his record deal, Campbell had spent time on the road playing keyboards in the bands of Tracy Byrd and then Luke Bryan, gigs that inspired him nightly. “Just being out there on the road and seeing the reaction from the audience to them and their songs, that was fuel to the fire,” he says. “That’s what I wanted for myself.” He was later discovered playing a regular gig at the downtown Nashville honky-tonk, The Stage.

Campbell’s new album, Never Regret, which includes the single, “Outta My Head,” solidifies Campbell’s standing as country music’s hippest neo-traditionalist, a niche he’d already begun to carve out with his critically-acclaimed, self-titled 2011 debut album. The new album was produced by Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band) and Matt Rovey (CCMA Album Of The Year Producer), and includes tracks penned by Campbell as well as some of Nashville’s other elite songwriters.
