Doctor Brings Exceptional Experience To Expanding Local Orthopaedics Team

ALBANY, N.Y. - Sept. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Capital Region Orthopaedics is proud to announce the newest member to their lineup of doctors. Dr. Michael A. Flaherty has joined the team of orthopaedic specialists.

Dr. Flaherty is fellowship trained sports medicine specialist with concentrations in hip, knee, shoulder and elbow arthoscopy. The Boston native attended Georgetown Univeristy and was a member of the Hoya football team. He continued his studies at the University of Massachusetts where he completed a sports medicine fellowship. Dr. Flaherty is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Today, Dr. Flaherty resides in Saratoga Springs, NY with his wife and two children.
