H.O.M.E. is Hosting a Fundraiser for the Michael J. deZonna Foundation

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - Sept. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- The House of Music and Entertainment in Arlington Heights, IL, works hard to entertain the greater Chicago area, but doesn't stop there, also having a hand in local charitable initiatives. H.O.M.E. is pleased to announce a benefit for the Michael J. deZonna Foundation on October 12, 2013 — this festive event promises to be a great time for a good cause.

Headlining the Michael J. deZonna Foundation Third Annual Benefit is the Libido Funk Circus, one of the top dance bands in the Chicago area. The group was originally formed in 1996 as an over-the-top tribute to 70's disco music. They’ve since expanded their oeuvre to cover hundred and dance and rock songs from the 60s to today. The band is also known for bringing tremendous energy to each and every show, creating an infectious environment that inspires attendees to dance.

Accompanying the infectious live music will be a contest for the Best Disco Outfit, a 50/50 raffle, appetizers, and a variety of beverages.

The event will take place on October 12, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at H.O.M.E. The cost will be $43 — Michael J. deZonna’s number during his playing years — per head. Tickets may be bought at the door with cash, check, or credit/debit card. This is a small price to pay for such a big party! And since the proceeds will help the Michael J. deZonna foundation support local athletes and students, attendees can know that they’ll be having a fantastic time for a great cause.

The Michael J. deZonna Foundation was founded to honor the legendary former coach of the Arlington Heights Cowboys football team. Both as a player and a coach, football was Michael deZonna’s overriding passion. He was known for holding his student athletes to exceptionally high standards, both on the field and in the classroom; and he believed that dedication to football was an excellent way to learn discipline, focus, and trust, leading to an improvement in the character of all participants.
