Lynn Nichols Realtor steps in as chairperson of Military Affairs Committee that's services Ft. Meade

ODENTON, Md. - Sept. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Lynn Nichols was founding chairperson of the Military Affairs Committee of the West Anne Arunel County Chamber of Commerce has now stepped back into that position. After the person that was in that positiion had to leave to a job change Lynn agreed to take back the position. This will be a temporary assignment.

When we ask Lynn she said "I am very excited to take the position for the time being. With all the government cuts we are very anxious to travel in different ways then what we were. We feel that we can do different and exciting events for the soldiers." Lynn when on to tell us about the signature event that they hold each year, "Every year the Army/Navy at Ft. Meade have a flag football game about a week before the one that is played in Annapolis. We do a tailgate party for the players, along with their families and anyone esle that shows up. This year we are working on getting one of the players from the Ravens to show up, last year we were able to get Terrell Suggs to sign two footballs and gave them to the players, one MVP from each team, the players were so excited."

Lynn said there is no set schedule on how long she will be chairperson, but is really excited about it and hopes that we can get the committee going again and really help the soldiers and make a difference in their lives.
