First Ever Online Orthodox Christian Cooking Show Launched

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Sept. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Buffalo, NY has launched what they claim to be the first ever Orthodox Christian Cooking Show. "We are planing to publish at least one video along with the recipe on our website every Tuesday." - said Father Volodymyr Zablotskyy, the acting rector of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Buffalo, NY.

Shortly after the official website of the show was launched a first video-recipe was published. The show utilizes YouTube to publish their videos but in addition the website provides a detailed recipe shown in the video.The show, according to Father Zablotskyy, is also poised to be come a fundraising tool for Sts. Peter and Paul Church. "Many Churches today overlook some opportunities available today on the internet that can be used as fundraisers." - said Father Volodymyr - "Without going into detail this show will be used as a fundraiser for our church, but it is not why we launched it. We launched it because is fun idea and we already receiving very positive feedback".

The Orthodox Cooking Show is opened to anyone who would like to come and demonstrate their recipe. In addition the the show's official website (http://occs.peterandpauloca.com/) anyone can subscribe to the show directly on YouTube. The show is developing the Facebook page and is also looking to grow it's presence on variety of other social media websites.

When asked if the show is prepared to offer something unique, something that other cooking show do not offer, Father Zablotskyy stated the following: "In the Orthodox Church we take very seriously fasting periods during the course of the year and we would like to provide our followers with a good source for Lenten recipes. This is not to say that we will not offer fast-free recipes as well. Our goal is to produce 1,000 episodes and therefore we have plenty of opportunity to offer a wide variety of recipes to those who will watch our show"
