Oncology OnTrack Supports the Nurse Navigation Program at Meritus Health's Center for Breast Health

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Sept. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Meritus Health’s Center for Breast Health, launched in May 2013, offers comprehensive breast health services. These services are guided by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including breast surgeons, radiologists, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, a nurse navigator, psychotherapists, physical therapists and occupational therapists.

Susan Lopp of Meritus Health’s John R. Marsh Cancer Center and Tara Reed, RN, clinical nurse navigator at the new Center for Breast Health, worked closely with the team at Priority Consult to identify the ways that Oncology OnTrack could help them provide quality care more efficiently.  In addition to nurse navigation services, the team plans to utilize Oncology OnTrack as it develops a survivorship program.
