TeKay Designs and Queen Of The Brides will showcase during Houston Fashion Week® 2013.

HOUSTON - Oct. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- TeKay Designs, an international fashion house based in Houston Texas, will showcase it’s Ethnic 2014 Collection (Jewel) and the renowned Queen Of The Brides collection during Houston Fashion Week® on October 3 (Kick Off),  October 10 (African Fashion Summit) and October 12 (Flamenco Fashion Show).

Houston Fashion Week® 2013 will kickoff with a fashion presentation on October 3, 2013 at Alex Rodriguez Mercedes-Benz Dealership located at 500 Gulf Freeway, League City Texas 77573 from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM CT.

TeKay Designs will be a featured designer at the African Fashion Summit on October 10, 2013. According to Creative Director, Kimma Wreh, "we will showcase multiple lines at the fashion shows ranging from ethnic formal, bridal, cocktail, casual, fashion jewelry and our high end couture Queen Of The Brides collection."

On October 12, 2013, TeKay Designs will showcase during the Flamenco Fashion Show at the Batanga Houston Downtown from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM CT.  The Flamenco Fashion Show is part of the national "Fashion Week" official tour with 20 models showing the culture of Spain. Traditional, classic, flamenco music and dance will accompany great fashion in Houston, TX.  The Flamenco show will feature live performances from international dancer Auxi Fernandez (Spain), and Great Guitar and Cajon with Raza Brava.

Houston Fashion Week® has been supporting and spotlighting local, national, and international designers since 2010.  This year, HFW™ will present a new exhibit: “New Wave H-Town Evolves to Couture.” The live presentation will be during the Kick-Off Party at Alex Rodriguez Mercedes-Benz, and the display will be at the Zen Art Space at Houston’s Galleria mall.

The official Houston Fashion Week® 2013/14 program will commence with a highly interactive multi-day experience that includes runway shows, exhibitions, and networking events to raise awareness of the local, national, and international fashion scene; it is a venue for locals and non-locals, designers, and other fashion professionals to mingle. It will be a futuristic, New Wave inspired soiree in which the notion of teleportation is explored through a group of photographers under the leadership of Fashion Photographer and producer Victor Quinteros, revealing the connection between Houston’s and New York’s fashion scenes.
