Champagne & Diamonds Gala Supports Breast Cancer Patients in Colorado

DENVER - Oct. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Champagne & Diamonds helps raise much needed funds for breast cancer patients receiving medical treatment. The public is invited to attend the gala.  The evening includes silent and live auctions, dinner, program, entertainment, and dancing to Colorado’s premier event band Groove Nation.

Sense of Security has helped more than 960 breast cancer patients in Colorado with financial assistance for monthly bills such as rent/mortgage, utilities, transportation, groceries, insurance premiums, and other basic household expenses during treatment and recovery. Many are forced to stop work due to illness, while others take a leave of absence. The lack of income during this time creates devastating consequences to their household finances.

Sense of Security (http://www.senseofsecurity.org/), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit Colorado-based organization, provides comprehensive financial assistance to breast cancer patients, fostering peace of mind so that Coloradans in treatment can focus on rest and recovery. Since its inception in 2000, Sense of Security has provided nearly $1.5 million in financial assistance to more than 960 Colorado breast cancer patients.
