ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Oct. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- B In The Center is a full service boutique bridal accessories company. Founded in 2011 by Barbara Alexander, B In The Center specializes in designing one-of-a-kind brooch bouquets, bouquet holders, corsages, boutonnieres and lapel pieces. A self-taught designer, Alexander designed her first bouquet out of necessity with no formal training and experience. However, through her personal challenges she discovered her hidden natural talents. She has since created countless unique pieces and built B In The Center into a promising company that is setting trends with their innovative designs.

When Alexander decided to enter the wedding accessories industry it was during a difficult time in her life. Little did she know that in the midst of her trials she would be inspired to embark on a lucrative business venture. While planning her wedding in 2011, her father fell very ill. “My father

passed after seven years of me being his caregiver. My journey as his caregiver was the most painful, gut-retching, physically and emotionally exhausting experience in my life to date,” says Alexander. Alexander found solace in designing the bouquet for her wedding as a respite from her situation. “While working on the bouquet every single day after I got off work, or either at the hospital or the nursing home I found a peace, a stillness.”

The positive feedback she received after showcasing her first bouquet was overwhelming. It was that moment that she realized that she wanted to create these art pieces everyday and vowed to cultivate an opportunity to create affordable custom designs for others. She explains, “B In The Center is one of those instrumental tools that God used to reach me, teach me and communicate with me.” It was that moment that B In the Center was born.

Today, B in the Center’s services span beyond their base in the Washington, DC area. Since its inception two years ago, B In The Center has created over 200 pieces for customers from Beverly Hills to Paris. While B In The Center is currently an independent online-based business, Alexander has plans to expand into a brick and mortar boutique in the coming years as she continues to attract more clients. But for now she is enjoying her moments of invention and creating timeless pieces of art.
