Oct. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- WesBell Electronics just launched a new website targeting multiconductor cable products. We currently offer electronic, portable and high temperature multiconductor cables with and without shielding.

Electronic

Electronic cables are used indoors and comprised of multiple lead wires and an overall PVC jacket. This new website will discuss electronic cables, how they’re used and what kind of protection they need. If your cable is running next to other cables in the application you may want to include a foil shield, braid shield or get a cable with individually shielded pairs.

Portable Cable

Multiconductor portable cables are used to supply power to portable equipment like generators and other small machines. SOOW, SJOOW and extension cords are all types of portable cord that can be used indoors or outdoors but not directly underground.

High Temperature Cables

High temperature cables are mostly used indoors in devices and appliances. When the cable needs to be installed near excessive heat an STJ cable will withstand up to 200ºC compared to standard multiconductor cables that withstand up to 105ºC.
