Innovations Unlimited ME was recently awarded the contract to supply and install a state of the art roof mounted photovoltaic system for Al Sadd Multipurpose Hall – the first sports facility in Qatar setting out to become more eco friendly and energy efficient.

The Hall is geared to be ready for use in the 2015 World Cup for Handball, which will be hosted in Doha and is part of the Qatar Olympics Committee’s plan to use solar power in existing stadiums as well as upcoming ones.

The project deploys a contemporary Photovoltaic system laid out over 1.8km² of roof area and stands to displace over 150 tons of CO2emissions every year.
