Horizon Forest Products Donates $5,000 in Hardwood Flooring to Upgrade Christian Life Home House

RALEIGH, N.C. - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, NC – October 15, 2013 – Horizon Forest Products, a top distributor of products for hardwood flooring contractors and custom cabinetmakers in the southeast, recently donated 2,000 feet of Impressions Cape Cod Gunstock hardwood flooring to Christian Life Home.  The Raleigh distributor provided approximately $5,000 in materials to upgrade a home operated by the non-denominational, non-profit organization.

Christian Life Home provides a loving, family atmosphere for women in unplanned pregnancies to receive care, counseling, and life skills training.  Since 1988, the organization has been serving the needs of pregnant women with compassion and guidance and was started by concerned individuals in the community who wanted to provide a brighter future for pregnant women and their babies.  Sherry McIntyre, Christian Life Home Assistant Director, says that it is through the generous contributions of companies, like Horizon Forest Products, that help her organization continue to provide these vital services to women in need.

“We’re grateful to Horizon Forest Products for their incredible donation,” said McIntyre.  “The flooring they provided for one of our homes in Raleigh is stunning and truly changed the entire look of the house.  They were able to transform the home beautifully.  The girls and houseparents are grateful for this gift and are enjoying the new flooring tremendously.  What a blessing to the ministry!”

David Williams, Horizon Forest Products Vice President, learned of Christian Life Home through a connection at his church.  In 2011, the company served as Event Sponsor of the non-profit’s
Links for Life Golf Benefit.  Williams said that the services provided by the organization are essential to ensuring that young mothers are provided the support and education they need in those crucial early months of pregnancy.
