Peter Nylund Appointed as Perseus Telecom Chief Financial Officer

NEW YORK - Oct. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Perseus Telecom, a leading provider of ultra-low latency, high capacity global networks, today announced the appointment of Peter Nylund as Chief Financial Officer. Nylund joins Perseus from TelePacific Communications, where he was the Head of Treasury and Director of Financial Operations.

Nylund brings twenty plus years of financial operations experience within telecommunications across the US and Europe to Perseus. Before joining Perseus, Nylund had spent the last ten years at TelePacific Communications. At TelePacific, Nylund oversaw the company’s financial operations of 40 regional offices serving more than 50,000 customers. Nylund is originally from Norway, was a Norwegian Naval Officer is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School Management at Northwestern University.

The Perseus global connectivity business is continuing to grow rapidly. In the last year Perseus has doubled in the number of customers it serves, in total revenue and the markets Perseus operates in. Peter Nylund will be instrumental in the Perseus global expansion strategy of ultra-low latency, high capacity connectivity, colocation and enterprise management services
