Dodge Caravan Kids Program Celebrates 7 Years of Helping Youth Hockey

Oct. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Properly outfitting young hockey players for Canada’s national pastime can be a financial struggle for many families. Thanks to the Dodge Caravan Kids Program, youth hockey players can enjoy the sport as an affordable reality. Eligible teams who sign up for the program can potentially receive funding to offset equipment, uniform, tournament, and other costs associated with novice community hockey.

The dealership is letting their customers know that the “Score and Win” contest and the Dodge Family All Stars program are returning for the 2013/2014 season, giving contestants the chance to win a new 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan.

Currently, over 8,000 teams throughout Canada have participated in the Dodge Caravan Kids Program, which represents more than 120,000 players and 30,000 families. This program helps give young players the opportunity to play hockey without having to risk financial burden for their family. Teams also have the chance to enter the Dodge Caravan Kids Team Photo contest, which involves youth hockey teams taking a fun photo that incorporates a new Dodge Grand Caravan (http://www.jacksondodge.ca/models/2014-dodge-grand-caravan/) or their local Dodge dealership. Five winners will receive additional funding from the Dodge Caravan Kids Program.

Dodge is also involved with helping higher levels of hockey, as billet families who welcome minor professional hockey players into their homes during the travelling season can submit their stories to the Dodge Family All Stars Program for a chance to win a trip to the 2014 Memorial Cup and get recognized at the CHL Awards.
