Lou Pizzileo Joins Grassi & Co. as Partner

NEW YORK - Oct. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- New York, NY –October 17, 2013 – Grassi & Co. is proud to announce that Lou Pizzileo, CPA, has joined the firm as an Audit Partner.

Lou specializes in accounting, audit processes and SEC reporting requirements for early stage and middle market companies, both public and privately held. Although knowledgeable in a variety of industries, in his new role at Grassi & Co., Lou will be focusing his expertise on the technology, media, entertainment and telecommunications industries.

“The addition of Lou is part of Grassi & Co.’s continued growth,” as outlined by firm Managing Partner Lou Grassi.  “We are proud to offer increased resources to our clients and the marketplace,” commented Grassi.

Lou is a frequent speaker and writer on a variety of audit and accounting topics, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He is also on the Board of Directors of the Social Media Association and the Suffolk County Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Additionally, Lou serves on the local Board of Education Audit Committee and was selected as an honoree for the 2012 Long Island Business News “40 Under 40” Awards.

Lou graduated from Long Island University with a B.S. in Accounting and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
