The 2013 3rd Annual Barber Ball

Oct. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- 3^rd Annual Barber Ball will commemorate the Barber and Beauty Hair Industry. Our hosts for the evening will be Val Warner of ABC 7’s Windy City Live and Leon Rogers of 107.5 WGCI FM Radio. There will be over 400 Barbers, Barber/Salon owners, Barber School owners, Independent supply operators and clients in attendance.  All throughout the evening, visitors will have many activities to enjoy at this Black Tie event. Those include a red carpet reception, feast on award winning hors d’ oeuvres with a cash bar, vendor browsing and enjoy live entertainment.

The Barber Ball was created to highlight the importance of legacy and new traditions, bringing together individuals who have become accomplished business owners as Barbers and/or continues to provide superior service to others. The goal is to continue on the road of achieving greater awareness on issues affecting Barber/Stylists, Students and Owners. There is a rich heritage behind the Barber’s Profession and in an effort to encourage professionally trained and licensed individuals to take their place in the Barber Industry. The Barber Ball will again award scholarships to current barber student winners who submit the best essay on, “What Does Being a Barber Mean to Me”.

Sunday, December 8, 2013 - 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Nationally, Barber/Stylist can “VOTE” on one of six categories with instant live feeds to broadcast who is garnering the most votes.Voting will end on November 2, 2013. There will be a runner-up and the winner will be announced at the event in Chicago. All nominees have to be present to receive his/her award.
