Kravanh Bright Future Center (KBFC) Graduates Pursuing Higher Education

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Oct. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- In September of this year,13 Sustainable Cambodia KBFC high school scholars passed their 12^th grade state exams which allows them to graduate from high school and  qualifies them for entrance to Cambodian Universities.  For many students, they are the first children from their village to graduate the 12^th grade.  Through their KBFC education, they have gained the skills needed to succeed in college and their accomplishments bring hope to their impoverished communities.

Sustainable Cambodia is raising funds to send these scholars to the university and make their educational dreams transform into reality. The annual cost for university level education in Cambodia is significantly modest: only $450 annually for a full scholarship or $225 annually for a shared scholarship. Cultivating hope for these scholars will make a lasting difference in their lives and profoundly impact them and you - forever.

About KBFC

The Kravanh Bright Future Center (KBFC) is located in the heart of rural Pursat Province. It opened in February 2008 as the first expansion of Sustainable Cambodia’s education program beyond the Sylvia Lasky Memorial School and village preschools. KBFC (which was named by the students) opened with 2 teachers and 85 students. Now it has 12 teachers and 300 students. Classes at the KBFC start each day at 6 AM and end at 7 PM, with classes in Khmer, English, math, physics, computers and chemistry.
