Winter Film Awards Announces Indieflix Partnership

NEW YORK - Oct. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Winter Film Awards is proud to announce its new partnership with Indieflix, the world’s favorite independent movie streaming platform. Called the “Netflix for independent films” by Variety, IndieFlix offers unlimited instant streaming of the world's favorite independent films, and is available globally, anywhere, from PC's, Tablets and Smartphones to Xbox and Roku.

It is no mystery why the two organizations would team up with such similarities between them -- both were created by filmmakers, and both seek to serve as a platform for sharing independent film with larger audiences. While Winter Film Awards aims to physically put distributors in front of up-and-coming films at their annual festival and awards ceremony, IndieFlix delivers indie filmmakers hard-earned royalties using their unique revenue-sharing Royalty Pool Minutes (RPM) model, through which filmmakers get paid for every minute that is watched by subscribers.

The 3rd Annual Winter Film Awards Independent Film Festival kicks off February 27 2014 in New York City. The festival consists of three days of film screenings and industry networking after-parties culminating in an awards show to be held on March 1. Call for Entries is open until December 15.
