Color Me Creative features Georgia artist, and new Union County resident, Ellie Cowan to guide inspired attendees in creating fun and lovely “masterpieces”. Even those who have never picked up a paint brush and feel ‘artistically challenged’ have a wonderful time finding their inner Rembrandt or Picasso in a relaxing environment, where fun is the key. A paint brush, a blank canvas, and making new friends or reconnecting with current ones, is a perfect way to spend an afternoon or evening. Flexible class schedules available with themes that will excite both adults and children. All the equipment and materials needed are supplied, so guests just show up and paint. When you leave, you walk out with a work of art to hang on your wall as a keepsake or to give as a gift.

Having experience teaching students from all generations and abilities, Ellie credits the success of her classes to her sense of fun and love of art and her students’ enthusiasm. Trained in Italy, the south of France, and the US, she brings a classical style that is, at the same time, fresh and light.

Painting parties are gaining in popularity around the country and are great for a girls’ or couples night out, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, family reunions, or anyone who wants to give painting a try.
