Follow on Google News | What’s Up Interactive launches Dollars for Scholars for the Georgia LotteryAtlanta interactive marketing agency What’s Up Interactive has launched a new microsite to enable the Georgia Lottery to give more back to Georgia students, this time through collegiate sporting events.
As part of the Dollars for Scholars program, students who attend the Georgia Lottery HOPE Games, a series of designated athletic events at each participating school, can enter to win a one-year tuition scholarship or a Segway i2. One student from each school will win the tuition scholarship, and another will win the Segway after the conclusion of the contest on March 31, 2014. In addition, a $1,000 prize will be awarded to one qualified student at each athletic event. What’s Up Interactive designed and built the online experience where students can enter for the tuition or Segway. It is integrated with the on-site events and allows for quick entry via mobile while students are still at the events. They can also enter using a desktop experience. “What’s Up Interactive is proud to partner again with the Georgia Lottery to help students in the state of Georgia,” said What’s Up Interactive CEO Richard Warner. Participating universities are: Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Southern University, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Mercer University, Savannah State University, University of West Georgia and Valdosta State University.
