Follow on Google News | Student nominated for Women of the Future MBA Star AwardLondon Business School student Tahreem Arshad has been nominated for the 2013 Women of the Future MBA Star Award.
By: London Business School Tahreem was born in London but brought up in the UAE, Egypt, Pakistan, Iran, Libya and Canada. She is a qualified chartered accountant and her performance saw her promoted to Engagement Manager at Ernst & Young. Toronto Mayor Mel Lastman told the Toronto Star newspaper her cross-community work made her a model citizen. Tahreem now has her sights set on responding to the challenges of extremism in Muslim marriage practices in Britain through a documentary project. The shortlist for the 2013 Women of the Future MBA Star Award will be announced on 11 October, with the winner crowned on 13 November. Last year's winner was alumna Rajal Pitroda, who was hailed for setting up an educational gaming business for young girls. The School nominates at least one student for the award each year.
