John P. Hartley named to GZA GeoEnvironmental Executive Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Nov. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that John P. Hartley of Bristol, RI has been named to the GZA GeoEnvironmental Executive Team with a promotion to New England Regional Operating Officer.

A resident of Bristol, RI Hartley previously held the title of Providence District Office Manager/Principal with GZA.  His areas of specialization include environmental studies and remedial investigations, the development of environmental clean-up programs and client support related to environmental regulatory issues.

Hartley’s experience prior to joining GZA includes four years serving as an Engineer/Senior Engineer with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM), Division of Air and Hazardous Materials.  He has also worked with the Minnesota Department of Health, the National Marine Fisheries Service and the University of Rhode Island’s Graduate School of Oceanography.

Hartley earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Health from the University of Minnesota.

His professional activities include the Rhode Island Society of Environmental Professionals and numerous RIDEM Regulatory Advisory Committees.
