By: PR First Applications are available on their website at www.glcps.org and are accepted through February 28, 2025. GLCPS is a public school; therefore, there is no fee to attend. Applicants are selected through a blind lottery that takes place each year in March. There are no interviews, admissions tests, or review of a student's previous school records. All students, including English language learners and special education students in New Bedford entering grades 5 through 10 are welcome to apply. Families are encouraged to start their school planning early as the best chance for a student to enter GLCPS is by applying in the 4th grade to start in the 5th grade. Tours are available onThursday January 23 at 6 pm. A coffee hour and tour will be held on Saturday January 25th at 10 am and an Enrollment Open House will be held on Thursday, February 6th at 6 pm with a snow date of February 11 at 6 pm.
