Free Show at The Bluestone featuring Matt Mason, The Phillip Fox Band, and Cliff Cody

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Nov. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The Bluestone is hosting a fan-appreciation FREE COUNTRY CONCERT on Black Friday, (November 29^th), featuring Matt Mason, Philip Fox Band, and Cliff Cody. There will be free parking, beer specials, and the Philip Fox Band will be filming their new music video! This event is all-ages, open to the public, and doors will open at 7PM. Come celebrate the holidays with great music and great friends at The Bluestone: Columbus’ home for country music and special events!

Headlining this show will be country singer-songwriter Matt Mason. Mason broke his way into the country industry in 2006 when he made it into the top 10 on the USA Network’s Nashville Star.  After placing fourth in the competition, Mason opted to audition for CMT’s Next Superstar 2011, and took the title. Since winning the show, the Indiana native has recorded eight master sides, and has toured with such acts as Aaron Lewis, and opened for Gary Allen at Country Jam 2013. Joining Matt will be local favorite Philip Fox Band. Phillip Fox Band's unique blend of Country, Rock, Americana, and Bluegrass, known as Country-Fried Rock n' Roll, is solidified in their EP, titled, “Motor City Blood.”

Also performing will be local favorite Cliff Cody. Cliff Cody signed his first Cody signed his first publishing contract in 2005 with EMI and since has co-written many songs for various artists from Julie Roberts to Josh Thompson and his longtime hero, D. Vincent Williams. Williams and Cody co-wrote the song , “Down by the River”, the first single on Williams’ album.  Cody took part in the Key West Songwriters Festival in 2006 and has now become a regular performer in that area.  Cliff Cody has performed at The Bluestone opening for many artists including Randy Houser, McGuffey Lane and Jamey Johnson, and performed at Country Jam 2013, opening for Gary Allen.
