Shift Church holding First Preview Service on November 17th at 10am

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Nov. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Shift Church is holding their first full-scale preview service this Sunday, November 17th at 10am at the Best Western Gateway Grand - 4200 NW 97th Blvd Gainesville, FL  32606.

Preview services are full worship experiences with live music and a practical take away message that allow all who attend to see what Shift Church is about. They also give staff and volunteers a chance to get acclimated to using the new equipment.  Everyone is welcome and invited.  Lead Pastor Brad Zachritz has prepared a 30-minute sermon entitled "Under Pressure," which discusses dealing with stress, for this first preview service.  Additional preview services will be held on Christmas Eve, January 12, 2014, and February 9, 2014; leading up to Shift Church’s official launch on Sunday, February 23, 2014.

Partnering with Church on Wheels (www.churchonwheels.com) for everything they need to create a church in a hotel, Shift Church has been able to radically transform the ballroom at the Gateway Grand into a cohesive environment.  High end lighting, screens, projectors, sound equipment, and a stage demonstrate that Shift Church and God have big plans for the city of Gainesville.

The Treehouse Kids environment has been fully outfitted, too, with amenities for babies up to elementary aged kids.  Treehouse Kids Director Mandy Scott beamed, "I love watching the looks on the kids’ faces when they come into our environment and feel comfortable and excited to learn about God."

Lead Pastor Brad Zachritz tweeted about getting all of their equipment "Unloading for the first time! #shiftgainesville #shiftchurch #kidsatchristmas” last Saturday when church volunteers practiced loading and unloading the trailer full of equipment that turns the Gateway Grand into Shift Church.
