The American Legion, Department of Colorado’s Campaign to Assist Veterans and Their Families

DENVER - Nov. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- The American Legion, Department of Colorado announced today a campaign to provide support and assistance to veterans and their families through the raffle of a brand new Can-Am Spyder RS Cruiser motorcycle.

All proceeds raised from the sale of raffle tickets will go into a special fund managed by The American Legion Department of Colorado for assistance necessary to sustain a quality of life for all veterans, to include retired, active duty, recently discharged service member and members of the National Guard and Reserve.

The American Legion maintains a staff devoted to determining the needs of veterans. Assistance can include rental and utilities assistance, food and clothing assistance, some medical needs, employment counseling and help with Veterans Administration claims.
