Larry Melo Salon And Spa Re Opens

BEDMINSTER, N.J. - Nov. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Larry Melo Salon and Spa. This award winning piece of architecture, located at 350 Main St. ( rt. 202) in Bedminister, NJ has vaulted ceilings, a loft and floor to ceiling windows that create the feeling of being in someones cozy living room. The salon and spa houses six hairdressers, two manicurists and an aesthetician for facials and waxing.

The styling stations are twelve feet high made from peer mirrors from the turn of the century. Each mirror is from a different country and one is more beautiful then the other. There are other period antiques throughout the salon and spa that reflect the classic beauty of an earlier time.

Every client that enters Larry Melo Salon and Spa is treated like a very special guest. The attention to detail for each client is apparent in every aspect of the salon.  Personalized consultations prior to your appointment, specialized treatments and the homemade specialities served  to each client makes it  easy to see why it was rated "salon of the year "by Modern Salon Magazine.

Larry Melo has a long history in the salon industry. After receiving his degree in Cosmetology, Larry continued on to complete an apprenticeship at both Vidal Sassoon and Jingles Acadamies in London, England. For more than 3 decades Larry has opened, owned, operated and/or managed more than a dozen salons. Everything from an intimate studio for four to a Medi Spa housing dozens of hairdressers, aestheticians and doctors. He has worked in some of the top salons in London, New York, Los Angeles and Scottsdale as well as done editorial work for major publications such as Vogue, Glamour and Cosmopolitan.  Larry has also been a consultant for L'Oreal and Proctor & Gamble, two of the largest cometic companies in the world, helping to create, test and package new products for this ever changing industry of fashion and beauty. A combination of knowledge, experience and artist talent allows Larry and his team to help you create a look that's unique for you.

Larry Melo Salon and Spa is open Tuesday through Saturday and is always looking for talented artists to share this amazing space.
