'The Dog Hunters Illustrated'- Kickstarting The Epic Retelling of the Legend of Gelert the Wolfhound

AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Nov. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- With the eBook and paperback versions of 'The Dog Hunters' receiving 5 star reviews on Amazon and doing brilliantly at the Armageddon pop culture expo in Auckland, New Zealand author and illustrator David Bell has embarked on the gruelling task of illustrating the entire 330 page novel.

Kickstarter, the international crowd funding website for creative ventures, was launched in New Zealand just last week, and author David Bell has jumped at the opportunities it offers.

'Engaging with Kickstarter has been very exciting, and a little bit scary, but it exposes my work on a planetary scale,' writes David Bell. '$NZ15,000 isn't much, but the cash will let me say no to freelance jobs so I can concentrate on pulling everything together on many fronts. I haven't made life any easier for myself, as I'm currently writing "The Dog Army", the second book in the adventures of Llewelyn and Gelert. I'm also heading out on a promotional tour of the UK and Southern California. But it will be worth it- Kickstarter will not only drive the illustrated version but is fantastic publicity for the already published book.'
