Toyota Announces Pricing for the Redesigned 2014 Toyota Highlander

The midsize crossover SUV will arrive at Lake Shore Toyota in January 2014 with a new look, improved performance, and more features.

BURNS HARBOR, Ind. - Nov. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Early next year in 2014, Toyota will release the 2014 Toyota Highlander to Lake Shore Toyota and other car dealerships. The model, a midsize crossover SUV, has been fully redesigned to mark the start of a new generation. Toyota has also just announced pricing for the model, ranging from $30,075 to $50,650 depending on trim.

The base model Highlander LE can seat up to eight people standard. While it is the lowest trim, these models will come with an impressive array of features like Bluetooth connectivity and a rearview camera. Models will be standard with a 2.7L four-cylinder capable of 185 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, but for $31,380, drivers can get a 3.5L V6 capable of 270 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque. All models, except for the base four-cylinder Highlander, can add all-wheel drive for $1460.

The next trim up is the LE Plus. For $32,840, this crossover provides more like three-zone climate control, a power liftgate, and fog lights. Upgrading to the XLE at $36,900 will get you even more, including heated front seats, keyless entry, and an eight-inch touchscreen interface with navigation come. These models can also add second row captain’s chairs and a backseat Blu-Ray system.

The last two trims are the Limited for $40,500 and the Limited Platinum for $42,990. The trims include even more features like rear parking sensors, cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel, and adaptive cruise control.

In February, Toyota plans to release a hybrid version of the Highlander with a 3.5L V6. These hybrids will start at $48,160, with the Platinum trim going for $50,650. Fuel economy estimates aren’t known yet, but these models will all the luxury features found on the standard trims alongside money-saving fuel economy.
