Matrix42 supports customers with licence management for virtual applications

The ‘Virtual Workspace Compliance’ feature pack highlights Matrix42’s commitment to offering its customers comprehensive management of the modern workspace – across physical, virtual or mobile environments. The functional extension is available as a free download from the Matrix42 support page.

Virtualised applications are a major licensing challenge for companies as the technical possibilities often do not comply with the licence conditions. The Virtual Workspace Compliance feature pack supports the company in understanding the consequences of the virtualised provision of applications via Microsoft and Citrix technologies and automatically maps them in the licence balance. This information puts Matrix42 customers in a position to better negotiate when it comes to after-sales, the conclusion of licence agreements and audits, thereby reducing licence costs in a sustainable manner.

At the same time, Matrix42 Compliance ensures that this usage data is listed in the licence balance and guarantees clear processing of the underlying recordings. In doing so, the solution takes into account the extremely heterogeneous nature of the licence conditions of the various manufacturers.
