Special Toyota Prius c Concepts Drift Into 2013 Tokyo Auto Show

HOLIDAY, Fla. - Nov. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- At the Tokyo Auto Show this week, a four pack of Toyota Prius c concept cars were displayed on the floor.  The most exciting of this quartet is the Aqua Air Concept (the Prius c is branded as the Aqua in Japan), which drops the top to let you be environmentally conscious in style.  The idea of a convertible hybrid is pretty rare, especially outside of the supercar class.  See the video above for an idea of what it looks like.  Read this article from Autoblog for available pictures. The remaining three would-be Prius c models bring plenty to drool over in their own right.  There’s a crossover-inspired  Aqua Cross Concept, which has a slightly higher ride height.  Toyota also appeals to the sportier crowd with the Aqua G Concept, equipped with a special grille and body kit.  Finally, the Premi Aqua Concept proves that diminutive hybrids don’t have to be minimalist.  It has a Lexus-like grille and premium leather to pamper posteriors.

While it remains to be seen whether any of these will ever enter production, Sun Toyota is excited about the possibility of expanding the palette of Prius c options.  Look for more information about them as we get our hands on it or Toyota distributes an official press release.
