Want the secret to control your life?

Dec. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- I want to introduce you to two books Chaim Gold (http://www.teachin21stcentury.com/about/) wrote.  Both deal in another dimension from what we have been traditionally taught, telling the stories of the everyday life of young adults, one a boy and the other a girl.  The stories unfold according to an interactive process (http://www.amazon.com/How-Empower-Yourself-Self-esteem-boost-ebook/dp/B00FP446D8), educating the reader to understand how his or her own life story (http://www.amazon.com/Revealed-your-life-Self-esteem-boost-ebook/dp/B00FY8281M) has been and will continue to be affected by understanding and controlling emotions and making right choices (a focus on internal control).  The books reveal the hidden possibilities for strengthening the relationships between the reader and those with whom he comes into contact.

Imagine a new student whose native language is English.  Let's say that his teacher understands formal English, but that her mother tongue is not English.  Since the teacher has been educated in literary English, she may lack the understanding of idiomatic expressions and nuances necessary for communicating effectively.  What will happen?  Even though the teacher may be very well versed relative to literature and other technical matters, the two will have still have to contend with a language barrier where the student is more fluent than the teacher.

This illustrates a situation that has been developing where children have become familiar with computers, mobile devices and the internet. While the children can be considered "digital natives," their teachers are often "digital newcomers."

This same gap is developing between adolescents and their parents.

How can we bridge this gap?

The books also teach adults a way to visit the world of the "internet natives" and speak their language.  The need for adult guidance requires fluency in internet-speak and function.  The books will help to demonstrate the need and point towards fully effective solutions.
