Spada Salon & Day Spa Collecting Gifts for Children in Harlem Heights

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Dec. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- – Spada Salon & Day Spa is collecting new, unwrapped gifts for local children in the Harlem Heights neighborhood.  Gifts are needed for more than 700 children, ranging in age from 3 to 17 years of age.  The gifts will be distributed at the Heights Foundation & Brightest Horizons “Harlem Heights Winter Wonderland” on Saturday, December 14.   Gifts will be accepted at Spada until Friday, December 13.  Spada is located at 13161 McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers.

Suggested donations include Legos, dolls, art sets, footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, remote control cars, tea sets, action figures, board games, coloring books and crayons.  Personal items are also needed including pajamas, jewelry, body lotion, spray, soaps, hair accessories and wristwatches.  Donations of gift cards from Target, Kmart or WalMart are also appreciated.

“We are passionate about providing gifts to the children in Harlem Heights,” said Judy Williams, who owns Spada with her husband Andrew.  “We have two small children of our own and a third on the way.  We want to put a smile on the faces of these children and create happy memories.”
