NILES, Ill. - Dec. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- A line of portable Chillers that quickly and efficiently removes excess heat from UV-LED curing systems is available from PolyScience. Designed to provide up to 2900 watts of heat removal at 20°C, 6000 Series Chillers are ideal for keeping high irradiance LED lamp arrays at low operating temperatures, thus stabilizing performance and prolonging operational life.  6000 Series Chillers feature an operating temperature range of -10° to +40°C (+70°C with heater option), ±0.1°C temperature stability, and user-adjustable temperature, pressure, and flow rate alarms.

Although 6000 Series Chillers are available with a selection of pump types, models with turbine pumps are generally best suited for UV-LED cooling applications. These models boast maximum flow rates of 3.5 gallons/minute (13.2 liters/minute), maximum pressures of 100 PSI (6.9 bar), and are available with cooling capacities ranging from 850 to 2900 watts at 20°C. In addition, the Chiller’s compact design requires a minimum of floor space.
