Steve E. Tyson Joins AgSouth Farm Credit

WALTERBORO, S.C. - Dec. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Orangeburg, S.C.: AgSouth Farm Credit Region 2 Chief Lending OfficerOwen Smith recently announced that Steve E. Tyson has joined the association as a corporate relationship manager. Tyson will work chiefly from the corporate office in Walterboro.

Tyson and his wife, Amy, reside in St. Matthews. He is a member of the St Matthews Rotary Club, Treasurer of the Orangeburg Calhoun Free Medical Clinic and a past Chairman of The Regional Medical Center Foundation. He and Amy are members of the First Baptist Church in Orangeburg.

Tyson is a graduate of Clemson University with a BS in Forest Resource Management. He comes to AgSouth with fifteen years of experience in banking and commercial lending. According to Smith, “Steve is an important addition to our AgSouth corporate team. He will play a huge part in growing our portfolio with large farm and timber owners throughout our territory.”
