New Hall of Fame Inductee Tony LaRussa to be part of “An Evening with the Cardinals”

ST. LOUIS - Dec. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- ST. LOUIS, MO - The NCCS will celebrate Cardinal Nation at the 2014“Evening with the Cardinals” on January 11, 2014 at the Hilton at theBallpark Hotel, St. Louis, MO

New Hall of Fame inductee Tony LaRussa, current Cardinals manager Mike Matheny, Hall of Fame player, coach and manager Red Schoendienst and former pitching coach Dave Duncan will be featured in an engaging evening of discussion and reminiscing about the Cardinals and Major League baseball. Dan McLaughlin of Fox Sports Network will serve as emcee and host a moderated question and answer session.  The evening will also include a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind memorabilia.  Robert O’Loughlin and Dick Zitzmann are co-chairs of the event.

January is an exciting time for Cardinal Nation as the winter warm-ups are about to begin and spring training is just around the corner.  This special event will provide first-hand information about the upcoming season and treasured stories from the past.  All proceeds help children with cancer and their families.
