FIRST GLIMPSE Bloggers-Only Event Presents Four New Brands

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- December 13, 2013 – Los Angeles, CA – Bloggers were the exclusive guests of honor at the First Glimpse event on December 10, as they previewed new collections from eco-friendly jewelry designer Silvana K and new styles from Lorie Lester.   Media Playground presented a photo shoot and model installation featuring Pretty Glam Special lingerie, and fashion headphones Frends.

Silvana K jewelry, handcrafted in Los Angeles entirely out of reclaimed metals, featured intricately crafted necklaces, earrings, and rings in white and gold brass.  Miami-based designer Lorie Lester presented Spring 2014 styles from her eponymous collection, and a few Fall 2013 favorites. The dresses, pantsuits, and skirts featured her signature mesh inserts and elegantly-bare styling.  Models walking around in lingerie, courtesy of Pretty Glam Special, added a slightly naughty touch to the holiday-themed event: Pretty Glam Special unveiled its new collection of limited-edition wearable art collaborations.  Frends headphones unveiled a women’s headphones line, that combines fashion with a newer, comfortable design: angled ear cushions allow them to be worn with earrings, and their new collapsible design allows them to fit in an evening clutch.   Hint cocktails were served, along with champagne, courtesy of hint water.  Seven Points, the new downtown shopping destination for stylish men also stayed open late, offering special discounts and new holiday gift ideas.

Over 30 bloggers and stylists attended the holiday-themed “First Glimpse” event.  “It is a pleasure to work with fashion bloggers,” says Eveline Morel of Emblem Showroom, founder of the First Glimpse events. “They are so passionate about fashion, and always looking for new things to share with their readers, it’s inspiring.”  The First Glimpse events, which debuted in October, with a preview hosted by Blogger Babes blogger association, are exclusively open only to bloggers and online media, offering first-looks and previews at new products and collections.  The December 10 event was a collaboration between Emblem Showroom and Media Playground PR.  Additional information about featured designers and the next First Glimpse event in January 2014 is available at emblem@emblemshowroom.com.
