Save the Date! VIM HHI’s 22nd annual Lowcountry Soup Challenge

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - Dec. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- The 22^nd annual Lowcountry Soup Challenge to benefit Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island is scheduled for Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Westin Resort & Spa from 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m.  Close to 1,000 guests attended last year to sample all the soup they could eat from more than 20 of the finest chefs on Hilton Head Island and the region.  VIM HHI’s Lowcountry Soup Challenge has grown to become Hilton Head Island’s premier winter event for culinary creativity and community caring.

New for 2014, this year’s event will feature two new soup categories, Healthy Soup and Vegan Soup, challenging our top chefs to slash the calories and the fat while still dazzling our taste buds with their culinary expertise.Also new this year, we will kick off the Challenge with a Health Walk on the beach at 11:30 a.m., an excellent opportunity to support VIM’s commitment to healthful living.
