By: Arnold Stalk, PhD On Christmas Eve, Tuesday December 24, 2013, Attorney Skaggs and his Seek Justice Foundation will hopefully place another 20 homeless individuals at Veteran's Village -- with first priority going to homeless veterans. Various individuals have donated sums ranging from $20.00 to $500 to help house these homeless persons. Veteran's Village has graciously agreed to a reduced rate of $500 for 5 weeks housing from December 24, 2013 -- January 31, 2014. Once placed, volunteers with the Seek Justice Foundation will work closely with these homeless individuals to help them re-enter the workplace, get medical care including mental healthcare, provide clothing and employment training so that these individuals can transition to become self-sufficient. When asked about this work, Las Vegas Attorney William Kerry Skaggs explained the motivation of this group: "As every one of my volunteers will tell you, we are the ones that receive the blessing when we volunteer our time to help the homeless transition to permanent housing. Suddenly, your problems appear much smaller. I know I speak for all my volunteers in saying that you will be forever changed -- for the better -- when you lend a helping hand to a homeless person, especially a homeless veteran. Come join us and see for yourself." INTERVIEW: Veterans will be on hand for interviews who are residing at Veterans Village for media interviews to be held at 11:00 am. WHEN: December 24, 2013 WHERE: Veterans Village Las Vegas, 1150 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, Nevada 89104 About Veterans Village: Veterans Village is located at 1150 Las Vegas Boulevard in a repurposed Econo Lodge motel.
