By: Costa Mesa Library Foundation CMLF's 2013-14 Favorite teacher nominations begin on January 7, 2014, and run through the end of February. Nomination forms can be found on the CMLF website, www.costamesalibraryfoundation.com, and at the three Costa Mesa public libraries on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Information on additional locations will be posted on the website. Teachers may be nominated for this award by other teachers, principals, students, parents, or other members of the community that they serve. There is no limit to the number of nominations a teacher may receive. The four nominees will be notified in April with an awards ceremony, dinner, and other activities scheduled at the Wyndham Hotel in Costa Mesa on Saturday, May 17, 2014. This year's winner will be announced that evening. The evening also serves as a fundraiser for CMLF. While the nominees and their guests will receive complimentary tickets, others can purchase tickets at a cost of approximately $100. VIP tickets will also be available that will include seating at celebrity tables and other benefits. A silent auction will also be part of the evening's events. It is the mission of the Costa Mesa Library Foundation (501c3) to raise funds to improve the condition of the city's libraries through revitalization, expansion, and inevitably a new state-of-the- End
