AF NEW YORK Introduces Brand New DUNE Collection Designed by Caroline Beaupere

NEW YORK - Jan. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- AF New York proudly introduces DUNE, a new architecturally designed sanitary collection created by French designer Caroline Beaupere, at a special industry and press event, to occur Wednesday, January 15th, 6-8pm, hosted by AF New York Principal Bennett Friedman at his 22 West 21^st Street, fifth floor showroom in New York.

New York / French designer Caroline Beaupere creates an alluring bathroom series that embodies one of nature's most interesting and beautiful phenomena. "The Dune Collection" according to designer Caroline Beaupere, "was inspired by the most serene place I have ever encountered: the Siwa Oasis in the Libyan Desert in Egypt. Surrounded by wind sculpted dunes and majestic mountains, the oasis is a magical haven, a place out of time where you forget about the outside world. Being able to escape the hectic pace of modern life is a luxury. The whole concept behind the collection was to create a tranquil environment for the ultimate relaxation."

AF | Architectural Collections including the brand new DUNE, are collaborative efforts between AF | New York and the architectural community. This collection debut is one among a series of select launches to occur with AF New York and top architectural designers in 2014.

AF | New York invites Architects & Designers to work with the AF | Design Lab to create a product line that expresses the spirit of New York and global architecture for the bathroom and kitchen. AF | New York helps support that effort through the design and production of products expressed as three dimensional functional art forms.

AF | Architectural Collections are more than a business effort and acts as support to the unique resource of design that is centered in New York and the individuals that guide, lead, and inspire that effort.

AF | Signature Collections can incorporate products such as bathtubs, washbasins, faucets, bath accessories, bath furniture, and door handles. We work with factories that produce these items in order to give them a commercial business base and, more importantly, have the means to showcase these creative ventures to the architectural world, developers, and private clients.

Architects AF New York has worked with include both large-scale and boutique design firms. AF | Architectural Collections assumes direct guidance and direction from Bennett Friedman, whose passion, experience, and knowledge has allowed the AF | Architectural Collections to be well executed while following the specific details of the designer's sensibilities.
