Media Advisory - New Collaborative Workspace Opening In Essex, Md., Jan. 13

ESSEX, Md. - Jan. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- ESSEX, MD. – The first Maryland CoLabs will open Monday, Jan. 13, giving small business owners, entrepreneurs and others in the Dundalk, Essex, Middle River, Chase and Eastern Baltimore County area a new resource to build their businesses.

         The opening will be marked by the unveiling of a mural created by Rhonda Hardesty of Fantasy Arts. Hardesty, a founding member of Maryland CoLabs, created the mural to capture the theme of those who choose to work at the facility.

The mural will be unveiled at 4:30 p.m. at Maryland CoLabs, the collaborative workspace and offices at 505 Eastern Blvd. in Essex, Md.

The new offices offer business owners who can’t afford or don’t want to commit to an office space long-term with office space from which they can run their businesses, collaborate with other business owners, network, and hold meetings and other events.

Members of Maryland CoLabs at Essex pay $97 a month for access to the facilities during business hours Monday through Saturday. Their monthly fee includes first-come, first-serve workspace, free WiFi and printers, as well as the opportunity to work amongst like-minded business owners.

The mural, created by founding member Rhonda Hardesty of Fantasy Artz (http://fantasyartz.com), captures the theme of those who choose to improve their businesses by working there.
