By: MoonGlow PR "The book celebrates the fans whose energy and excitement generated Beatlemania across the country 50 years ago,” says Berman. “I spoke with over 40 of them and listened to their fascinating recollections of what it was like to be personally swept up in the wonderful madness--the mania--for the Beatles, all those years ago." The book grew out of an article Berman wrote for "Beatlefan" in 2005 to mark the 40th anniversary of the Beatles’ Shea Stadium concert. After finding fans to interview who actually attended that historic concert for his article, Berman decided to keep searching for fans that had seen the Beatles around the country. After three years of conducting interviews and arranging the material, 'We're Going to See the Beatles!’ was published in 2008. Garry Berman will be available to meet & greet fans and sign books at the Fest for Beatles Fans in New York City on Sunday, February 9th at Noon in the marketplace.
