Andy’s 12th Annual Pasta Dinner To Be Held On February 23, 2014 Event To Benefit LifeNet4Families

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Jan. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Sources confirmed that the funds raised with the event would be passed on to LifeNet4Families, which in turn would use the same to reduce the pain and sufferings of the poor. The money would be spent in providing food and ancillary services to those in great need. Anyone can participate in the fundraising dinner, become a JR Chef and help Andy’s efforts to reduce hunger in South Florida.

When contacted, Kevin Tacher, the Vice Chairperson of LifeNet4Families Board of Directors said, “People are treated with respect at LifeNet4Families. They are all people and deserve to be treated as such. Many clients have mental health issues or they are the "working poor"- i.e. they just need a little extra help to make ends meet paycheck to paycheck. Everyone at LifeNet4Families is trying to make a better life for themselves and their families and just needs a hand-up. With your help we can accomplish that together.”

The mission of LifeNet4Families is to empower people to defeat personal crisis by feeding hungry bodies, minds and souls with the help of nutritious food, information, and by referral to other partner agencies.

Sources confirmed that Andy's Family Pasta Dinner has raised over $380,000 for LifeNet4Families in the last 11 years. In year 2013, around 700 people attended the dinner that also had a number of fun filled activities for children along with a wide variety of delicious foods and dozens of auction items.

This year the guest chefs at the dinner would be Sam Madison, Joe Rose and O.J. McDuffie. The renowned chefs would bring Andy’s 12th Annual Family Pasta Dinner to the Signature Grand. The event is also offering opportunity for people to raise funds for LifeNet4Families and try to attain a goal of $500. Those who are able to achieve the same would be known as a JR Chef and will get a special Pasta Dinner apron at the Pasta Dinner on Sunday, February 23. The admission cost for the pasta dinner is $40 of donation per person. One child can accompany an adult free of cost.
