Rosdev leases 200,000 sq. ft in Mile End To RBC

MONTREAL - Jan. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- The Rosdev Group is pleased to announce that RBC Royal Bank (http://www.rbcroyalbank.com/personal.html) has signed a long term lease at its flagship property located at 7101 Avenue du Parc. Under the terms of the lease, the Royal Bank will occupy some 186,000 square feet, or just over 3 floors of the property.

Formerly a multi-storey industrial building, 7101 Avenue du Parc, which is located at the corner of Jean Talon and Avenue du Parc in the Mile-End district of Montreal, has been completely renovated into a class “A” office building. With the University of Montreal already occupying the 3^rd floor, the property is now over 70% leased.

Mile end has been the focus of much commercial activity in the past few months, amongst others, 3 major real estate leasing transactions have been announced in the last few months alone. Of those, 2 of Canada leading banks will now call Mile End home. According to Rosdev’s President Michel Rosenberg, the reasoning is simple “7101 Avenue du Parc offers the same quality construction as downtown buildings, is easily accessible via public transport and major highways, and the rental costs are 50% of downtown rents.”
