Guyson Showcase Finishing Technologies at Southern Manufacturing

SKIPTON, U.K. - Jan. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Guyson International (Stand S110) will once again be attending the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics exhibition, to be held at Farnborough on the 12th and 13th February 2014. This year Guyson will be showcasing technologies from its blast finishing and ultrasonic cleaning equipment ranges of industrial finishing equipment and the stand will be staffed by their local Southern based sales engineers to provide full technical assistance.

Equipment shown will include the Euroblast 4SF - a compact and highly versatile, industrial quality, manual blast cabinet. Guyson suction fed blast cabinets are often chosen for applications such as: deburring, paint, rust and heat scale removal, surface preparation prior to bonding, anodising or plating, and imparting a wide range of value adding cosmetic finishes to a variety of glass, metal and plastic products and also products created using rapid prototyping, 3D printing or Additive Manufacturing.

Guyson also has a range of pressure fed blast cabinets for heavy duty industrial cleaning application including, mould cleaning and casting investment removal or where faster cleaning is required. A full range of automated blast systems, including robotically controlled, is also available from Guyson.

Also on display will be a KS 525 ultrasonic cleaning tank – one of Guyson's extensive ‘Kerry’ branded ultrasonic cleaning tank range. A range comprising six standard cleaning tank sizes with aqueous wash capacities from 21 to 275 litres and all robustly constructed using AISI 316L polished stainless steel for durability, while Kerry ultrasonic generators ensure powerful parts cleaning and long equipment life. Standard KS ultrasonic tanks operate at 38 kHz (±10%); however, optional Kerry Guysonic generator with Primewave® controls allows switchable dual frequency (36/66 kHz ±10%) and variable power control.

Typical uses of these ultrasonic tanks include: Production cleaning: including removal of oils, swarf, polishing compounds, brazing flux, solder flux, carbonised deposits and moulding residues. Refurbishment: of computer, photocopier and engine components. Maintenance: of mould tools, extrusion dies, printing components, saw blades and cutting tools, surgical instruments, electronics assembly system parts, and small machine components.
