MTS And Western Avenue Celebrate First Music Row Top 80 Chart Entry

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jan. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- MTS Management Group would like to congratulate Western Avenue on their first entry on the Music Row Country Breakout Top 80 "published" chart.  Western Avenue's debut US single release, "Wherever You Are" entered the Top 80 at #78, for weekending January 24, 2014. Last week, the track was "On Deck And Soon To Be Charting" at #86. This is also MTS Records' first trip to the Top 80.

“Wherever You Are” was written by Western Avenue’s Nikki English and Canadian songwriter, Dave Woods. In addition to vocals by English, vocals were provided by band members, Keith Robertson and Matt Williams. Robertson, who is English’s husband, also played guitar, bass and mandolin, while Williams provided guitar and banjo tracks. Rounding out the studio performance were Adam Newcomb on piano, guitar and bass, and Matt Newcomb on drums.

Western Avenue are based in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.  They are a 2013 Country Music Association of Ontario Award Nominee, a 2013 International Music and Entertainment Association Award Nominee, and a Nashville Universe Awards Nominee. Matt Williams will be in attendance at the upcoming Nashville Universe Awards ceremony, taking place on February 17th, at the Silver Dollar Salloon in Nashville.
